Towergate boost corporate finance insurance team

Towergate Corporate Finance Insurance has appointed Andy Jaques as a Development Executive.

Andy is formerly of Notts and Leicester based insurance broker Oval Group, where he was an Account Executive for 23 years. His new role will be to provide a national insurance due diligence advisory service to support the corporate finance sector and the owners of businesses who wish to sell, merge or acquire another company. /

TCFI was established as a separate division of the Towergate partnership in 2010 in response to the increasing demand for a greater understanding of risk management and insurance adequacy reporting in any transaction process. As well as to provide wider insurance and advice services to transaction teams with the aim of increasing value for companies by risk transfer./

Welcoming Andy to his new role, Development Director, Steve Exwood said “The advice we provide ensures those involved in the transaction fully understand the risks the business being reviewed will face, and, where possible, our recommendations for how these risks can be managed or transferred to an effective insurance and risk management programme.”

Andy lives in Mountsorrell, near Loughborough and enjoys walking his dogs and helping his wife look after their horses.
